Mannetjies Roux, Springbok centre, scored try number 248 for South Africa in the fourth test against the 1968 British Lions at Ellis Park in Johannesburg. The test was won by South Africa by 19 - 6. South Africa won the series 3 - 0. The Springboks scored four tries in the match. This was the first and also Roux's fourth test try.
