• Are you new to self-paced or online study?
• Have you enrolled in an online degree after many years of not studying?
• Are you currently enrolled in a degree…and have lost all motivation or hit a wall?
Online learning can be a bit different to attending live sessions on campus, and with access to so many online options there are more and more people returning to study after several years or decades so it can be a bit overwhelming. So I wanted to put together some things you can consider to build your confidence and get you back into the swing to set you up for success.
I mentor many university students at the Masters level, and I tend to have the same conversations when we start out, so I've created this video to help some of you who don't have mentors and also to save me some time in the future! It's basically a list of topics that I wish someone had explained to me when I was studying.
Quick DISCLAIMER – I am not associated with any university and I'm speaking as a student and trainer. So these are my experiences, and my opinions – and you're free to take it or leave it.
