The current onboard gimbal options for the Zhiyun crane M3... are rough and jerky...
To help use the ZY play app and adjust scene settings for follow speed, deadband and smooth values...
For example the new firmware 1.76 has slight improvement...
Therefore
My settings are as follows...
Pan follow speed 20
Tilt follow speed 10
Deadband pan 1
Deadband tilt 10
Joystick control speed tilt and pan 15
Smooth value pan and tilt 200
Deadband set at 1 because any wider then the gimbal jerks at the outer Deadband Region...
While setting the value at 1 reduces the jerky motion and gimbal returns to central position...
Also, Orbits performance is much better when Deadband is at 1
Use lower pan follow speed for better cinematic movements...
The current trigger switches modes from “pan follow” to “go”
Or “follow” to “go” which jerks the tilt movement...
Be careful of this use follow mode and tilt the handle fir camera tilt adjustment or use the joystick...
