On board Cygnus NG-19 cargo mission, there is brand new biotechnology research. One of the most fascinating experiments is Neuronix experiment developed by Axonis Therapeutics. For that, NASA astronauts will grow stem cells into 3d cell cultures with neurons in microgravity, with the goal of advancing our understanding of paralysis and other neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's.
