This video will tell you how to check led (light-emitting diode) bulbs including SMD type led with a digital multimeter.

Rotate the multimeter's dial to DIODE - Put the multimeter's leads in contact with the LED's

leads.

- If the LED lights up then it good, if it doesn't then reverse.

the multimeter's leads - If the LED still doesn't light up then it might be bad.
