Two year update: We are still currently using the induction on our solar system and it has been working well. If cooking a full dinner with it, on 400ah it takes about 10% battery if the sun isn't out. If the pan/pot is too small, sometimes the induction magnet doesn't recognize it very well but we rarely use our tiny pot. We recently sold our van and moved into a custom built truck camper and purchased this same exact induction and same thing, its been working great the last few months.
