As good as LeBron is on the court, many people might not realize how good he is off the court. Caron Butler played against LeBron for 14 years in the NBA. He now works as an NBA analyst for TNT. Butler shared a story that provides insight into LeBron the person. Butler saw LeBron at a movie premiere on a busy red carpet. LeBron walked by without saying hello. Butler said LeBron went out of his way to circle back to greet him after he made his way through throngs of people. He said, “Hey man, I’m sorry I didn’t see you. Respect to your family. Let me know if you need anything if you’re good.” Butler said that he thinks most superstars would not understand the importance of making contact in that way, but that LeBron is “a different cat.”
And this card is also a different cat. The coveted RPA. In 2003, Upper Deck outdid themselves when they minted this beautiful Exquisite Collection Limited Logos LJ. This patch in combination with a beautifully struck auto from the King’s rookie season gives this card mass appeal. The photo of a young Lebron and silver UD and Cavs inlays add to its aesthetics. We expect this /75 limited production to bring out the LeBron faithful as it represents one of his finest assets.
