Since the death of Paul Allen there have been a lot of questions about where Stratolaunch would go since the existing investors no longer had the appetite for developing a new orbital launch system. Recently Stratolaunch announced that it's plan is to offer a private experimental test platform for hypersonic research, starting with the Talon-A test plane.
