Serac presents: COMBOX-SAS 5, an aseptic 3-in-1 block ( PET Blow/Fill/Cap )solution for dairy products and beverages, with low-to-medium production speed. This aseptic version of COMBOX offers the flexibility to produce multiple format (shapes and sizes) in one line, from 12,000 PET bottles per hour (1 liter bottle) up to 18,000 PET bottles per hour (250 ml bottle).
The flexibility is becoming an important factor in our world. Dairy product and beverages manufacturers need to be able to meet the constantly changing demands of the market. When investing in Serac COMBOX-SAS 5, it gives the possibility to blow bottles ranging from 50 ml to several liters on the same machine, with synchronized rotary filling and capping unit that adjusted quickly and easily to the blowing output.
Using the same equipment for different sizes makes format changeover simpler. It must be as short as possible, which is not that simple in an aseptic environment.
This is why, in Serac Aseptic COMBOX, the blower is located outside the sterile zone: changing the PET mold presents no risk of contamination and requires less than 10 minutes with a single operator. The same system is used for changeover at the exit of the filling machine.
COMBOX is the trade name of Serac Multifunction block, the assembly of PET linear blower (Serac Blow Linear) and our rotary net weight filling machine, synchronised to operate as a single unit.
