Our guests often ask about the private gondola access included in our Kadenwood properties, so we thought that we would make a little video!
The prestigious neighbourhood of Kadenwood is located on Whistler Mountain's highest allowable building elevation; almost 1000ft/1km above the valley floor, or Creekside Village.
These luxury estates are provided gondola passes that must be presented (one per gondola group) to the operator to access. The travel time is approximately 5 minutes from the station to station, and the gondolas can carry 8 people in each of the 4 cabins.
The base of the Kadenwood gondola is located adjacent to the Creekside gondola allowing easy access to the extensive lift and trails systems on Whistler Mountain and then over the Peak 2 Peak to Blackcomb Mountian, all from the convenient location of your luxury ski-in/out chalet.
The private gondola links Kadenwood to the valley floor with easy access to Alpha, Nita and Alta Lakes via the extensive valley trail system. Franz’s Trail at the base of Creekside is an intimate pedestrian village featuring legendary Dusty’s après-ski pub, fine dining at the Rim Rock Café or Aura @ Nita Lake, and other necessities like groceries, liquor store and coffee shops.
