30-second look inside closed AT Habitat camper shell mounted on 2020 Tundra 6.5 bed. The Habitat is the model that opens from the front of the rig, lifts vertically up and over 180 degrees, and cantilevers off the back of the rig. Notice the Bed Rug liner, which makes a house a home. Tent platform supports stored in front of bed and secured with Velcro. Cup holders secured with Velcro. Storage net on right bed wall. Cable connecting the rear panel latches, for one-hand operation. Two sleeping platforms. When the tent is stowed for travelling, the sleeping platforms support the tent material to prevent it draping down, for a clean look. With the tent extended and both sleeping platforms unfolded, there is 16 feet of flat, habitable space, plus the full truck bed, creating generous room to spread out. The white sleeping platform was purchased as an original accessory. Due to the tight fit, it is difficult to retract/fold. The gray one was ordered after installation, and retracts/folds much more easily. I suspect that is why it was redesigned. Lastly, I recommend windows on all four sides for visibility, ventilation, and natural lighting. Questions? mikewikstrom@yahoo.com
