"As a matter of fact we want to convey to the world the message showing that we are persecuted people, we are people who've suffered a lot by the Israeli occupation. If some pictures exhibited here depict the military operations carried out by the Palestinian resistance - this is to show the world we are persecuted people. Because of Zionist practices carried out day and night by the occupying forces, the popular resistance has emerged."

STORYLINE
Bits of pizza, blood stains and body parts were part of an exhibition opened by Palestinian University students on Monday to commemorate the year-old uprising against Israel.
This part of the display was designed to depict the aftermath of a suicide bombing in a Jerusalem Pizza restaurant which claimed the life of the bomber and 15 others.
The controversial show at Al-Najah University in Nablus was put on by students who support the militant Islamic movement Hamas, which carried out the Jerusalem attack.
0001 The entrance to the exhibition was made to look like the Sbarro pizza restaurant.
0005 Visitors wipe their feet on American and Israeli flags.
0011 Inside, you can see half eaten pieces of pizza, body parts and blood smears on tables and walls.
0019 And a photo of the Jerusalem restaurant after a suicide bomb attack in August.
