Brits searching for UK holidays after new quarantine rules were enforced on Saturday morning has surged, according to reports.

One company in charge of two of the biggest holiday cottage websites in Britain saw its traffic increase suddenly by 25% yesterday. Apparently, only 60 homes of the 19,000 Awaze offer were still available in August.

Many are opting for a safer holiday in the UK rather than risking a holiday abroad, and potentially getting stuck with a 14-day quarantine period.
