Osteoporosis is basically the loss of bone density. It affects millions of people worldwide, the majority of whom are elderly. It is a fact backed by science that after a certain age we start to lose calcium in the bones and calcium is a major contributor to bone strength.
For many years milk was an indisputable required source of calcium and because of that, it became a common sense that milk is the "secret" to healthy bones.
However, recent studies have exposed the risks of milk in general. Is it really a good source of calcium? And if so, is calcium really the secret to bone health?
