This lecture presented by Barbara Rodrigues (a PhD student at the Texas A&M University, USA) is part of the 'Reach & Teach Science in Africa' initiative of the JR Biotek Foundation, which is designed to equip Africa-based researchers and students with knowledge and skills in modern molecular biology concepts, techniques and various research applications. To date, our world-class virtual and face-to-face scientific lectures and workshops (delivered by research experts from top world Universities) have reached thousands of early-career researchers in over 30+ nations in Africa and South Asia.
