The backlog in DNA testing in South Africa is being reduced - albeit behind schedule. The SA Police Service missed an October target to clear the backlog of tests. According to the latest update it is around 64000.

To discuss we're joined by the Western Cape Provincial MEC of Community Safety and Police Oversight, Reagen Allen.
