Angelo Parodi, an Italian brand, is the first line of canned fish I imported into the USA. When I first tried them back then I was blown away by the quality of their entire line. Their products are a huge step up from what I had growing up in the US and I was so excited about it. I told all my friends and family about their amazing canned fish. Looking back, importing Angelo Parodi products was the first step in my journey of finding quality products from all over the world and bringing them to consumers in the USA. I find it to be "affordable luxury" and still can't stop talking to friends and family about them. For around $5 I can have what real Italians get to enjoy in their homes and share with family and friends; it is quite a treat.
If you are interested in trying this also check out the AP Mackerel with Ginger and Chili Pepper. It's a bit spicy; I think it's a step up from the plain mackerel in olive oil.
