You may see that the most presented artworks were done in the 19th Century and in the US, which leads you to see the fragments of American life in the 19th Century.

You may also notice that a couple of artworks were done overseas. I was astonished that some artists were well traveled when there was no airplane. How could they go to Japan across the Pacific! Only by ship!
