Akbar, the railways' steam engine that has featured in Bollywood movies like 'Sultan', 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' and 'Rang De Basanti', went on a ride without a pilot during a trial at the Heritage Loco Shed in Rewari on Saturday afternoon. Its scared driver had jumped off when the locomotive started moving on its own, believing there was a malfunction. Akbar crashed through the main gate of the shed and rolled on for about 2km towards the main track of the Rewari-Rohtak route, before getting derailed and coming to a halt outside the heritage site.
