➜WEST ELM Home Decor Dupes for Less! DIY Dollar Tree High End Room Decor! ☑️
Hey guys! In today's video I share with you how I recreated 3 of West Elm's expensive home decor for way less, using items from the Dollar Tree. I am so happy with how these projects turned out and I absolutely enjoyed the creative process!
In the first project, I decided to recreate West Elm's terracotta vase that retails for $258. I used a cylinder glass vase and some erasers from the Dollar Store, along with some polymer clay to create this decor piece. I basically cut the erasers to size and glued them on the vase, with the placements similar to the original piece. I then rolled out a small cylinder shape with clay and baked it in the oven. I then glued that on the vase too. I spray painted the whole piece with a terracotta spray paint that I had leftover from a previous project and that finished off this first West Elm dupe DIY. I think this vase looks very much like the original one, but it only cost me $5 to make!
For the second project, I recreated West Elm's footed centerpiece bowl. This item is priced at $80 on their website. I used a medium sized bowl along with a pack of white foam disks from the Dollar Tree for this DIY. I carved out one of the foam pieces so that the base of the bowl would sit inside. I then spray painted the bowl and the foam pieces separately, with matte black spray paint. Once the paint was dry, I glued these two together and that completed this second West Elm dupe project. I am obsessed with the minimalistic modern look of this centerpiece bowl and this project cost a total of $2 to create!
In the last project, I created an arched tealight holder. Now it's unclear how much this item sells for from West Elm, but I'm going to assume it's at least $10-$15. I used a green floral foam ring for this project, and that's all I needed anyways! I actually had a half ring from my last West Elm dupe video and it worked out perfectly for this DIY too. I basically carved out a portion on top that would fit a tealight. I painted this piece with some chalk paint in the color French linen and let it dry. And that's it for this last West Elm decor dupe! It was super easy to create and it cost me nothing to make this! Even if I didn't have a foam ring from a previous project, it would've still cost $1 to make this trendy candle holder!
I hope that you guys enjoyed these West Elm decor dupe DIYs and try to recreate them for yourself! 😊
