I am setting up my new Soxhlet extractor. It seems i need a water pump for the condenser and also to get some ice for the waterbath. I will head to the store for that. My first trial run will be steam distillation in Soxhlet extraction apparatus of essential oil of Oregano. This herb is said to have various benefits. Oregano is strong and potent as an essential oil. I can prepare it fresh at home and know the ingredients instead of buying store bought and hoping for the best. Does this count as #plantalchemy ?
