A threat call was received on a landline number at Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari’s official residence in New Delhi’s Motilal Nehru Road, police said Tuesday. An investigation is underway and officers said they are tracing the location of the accused. Officials said the unidentified caller contacted the minister’s residence late on Monday. “He did not share his details and simply demanded that he wanted to speak to the minister. He issued life threats,” said a senior police officer.
