Lloyd De Jongh interviews Mike Blackgrave, founder of SEAMOK in San Antonio, Texas.
Lloyd De Jongh is an instructor of the Piper System (The Criminal Simulation System), which mimics the methods and movements of African criminals, especially the ambush, for the benefit of civilians and professionals so that they can be studied and countered. His own counter-ambush system, derived from his knowledge of the Piper System and independent research is the Tripwire System of Close Contact Counter-Combatives.
After 11 years in the Middle East he is based in South Africa and Europe.
Michael Blackgrave is the founder of SEAMOK (Simple Effective Aggressive Methods of Kombate) Tactical Solutions. With over thirty years of experience in the combatives field he has earned teaching credentials in four disciplines of martial science. He has taught seminars to civilians, law enforcement and private security personnel throughout the United States.
He is responsible for building the P.C.C.T. (Police Control Capture Tactics) course for the Waycross, Georgia Police Dept. Mr. Blackgrave is considered to be one of the top empty hand, edged and impact weaponry instructors in his field. He is also known for turning out top quality instructors and practitioners in his system of SEAMOK. He is a published author on the subject of self preservation using edged and impact weaponry.
Mr. Blackgrave is a veteran of the United States Army having served honorably with the 59th Ordnance Brigade and the 74th USAFAD during the height of the cold war in the capacity of COMSEC security NCOIC which entailed the safe passage of top secret equipment and coding devices to various QRA sites through out southern Germany.
He has also worked in the private security sector as well as event security. He is a member in high standing with the WCMAA (World Combat Martial Artists Association) and also a member of the NRA.
