On July 7, casualties after a tornado in Dongming County, Shandong Province, China continued to increase. Accordingly, Dongming district recorded 5 more deaths and 83 others injured after the natural disaster. Local authorities said the tornado also damaged more than 2,800 houses, destroyed about 4,000 hectares of agricultural land, and 48 power transmission lines. Disaster relief efforts are continuing.
