Operations at various public hospitals at the coast region were paralyzed today, as hundreds of doctors and nurses participated in the nationwide strike.
The go-slow is aimed at forcing the government to improve their welfare but as Peter Mwangangi reports, the patients continue to bear the brunt of it all.
