Hello, this is Jino. I'm showing you how to do the jazz split today. Now the jazz split is something you probably have to get used to. So I'm going to get on the ground first and show you how to position before we actually do it. What you're going to do is get in this position right here. You can use either leg. Obviously, I'm going to do it this way, so I'm going to show you this way today.

So basically, if you turn this way, your right leg's going to be back and your left leg is going to be forward. So basically, this is the position you need to be in. Now I'm going to show you how to get into it. What you're going to do, while you're in movement up here, whatever you're doing.

You know, locking-wise, popping-wise, mostly locking-wise, you're going to kick your right leg out like this, however you want to do it, out-drop. Now to maintain a fall safely, you've got to use your hands. So when you do it go, right kick - you're going to drive both hands down, right before you land.

So you can land safely, because you don't want to fall on the wrong area and get hurt. Five, six, seven, eight and one, two. Now let's try it again. Five, six, slow it, seven, eight, kick and drop. Now make sure you stretch well before this move too, because if you do it wrong, you can twist something or blow something out. You don't want that to happen to you. Always stretch for everything though, that's just natural. Now I'm going to show you with music.
