Prime Minister Boris Johnson has welcomed his Lithuanian counterpart Ingrida Simonyte to Downing Street ahead of a meeeting on Tuesday.
The pair are expected to discuss the ongoing tension in eastern Europe, where Russia has stationed over 100,000 troops on their border with Ukraine.
Mr Johnson and Ms Simonyte will likely talk about diplomatic de-escalation efforts, the reinforcement of Nato’s eastern flank, assistance to Ukraine and sanctions against Russia.
Trade between the UK and Lithuania, as well as economic relations, are also on the meeting agenda.
