THE SECOND SONG ABOUT SAYFO "Qatlo d 'Seyfo", (Sayfo Genocide).
A religious commemoration of the Aramean-Syriacs Genocide during the First World War in the Ottoman Empire's stage is held June 15 within the church tradition.
The Aramean-Syriac people have suffered many mass murders throughout history and in conjunction with the Islam religion competition, the crowd has been greatly decimated. The number of Aramean-Syriac people has been to the countless and its land area has been to the limit. A people with a language that has lived the longest among the world languages and a golden culture and given influences to many other cultures in its area.
The adoption of the Christian peaceful religion by the Aramaic-Syriac people has done at an early stage. It has led to a way of life like the sheep among the wolf that is constantly persecuted without defense and protection. Over time, everything in terms of culture, language and country area has been lost.
The escape to the diaspora during the past decades has been a fact and with it a new establishment with new life has been a new chapter for the Aramaic-Syriac people.
At the same time, the look back to the country of the fathers has been raised strong in the hope of future freedom. All this is told in this Aramaic song, "Qatlo d´Seyfo", "Seyfo Genocide".
