We know it: trash is a huge problem world-wide. The U.S. alone produces 268 million tons of trash per year. And while the US produces far more waste it recycles far less of it than other countries. Germany for example managed to drastically reduce the amount of trash and create 50% less waste today than in 1985 thanks to a really efficient recycling system that is rated the best in the world.
