Today I am travelling to the highest village in the Scottish Highlands. Situated at an elevation of 345 meters above sea level and home to around 716 people, Tomintoul is the highest village in the Highlands and is located within the beautiful Cairngorms National Park.

Nearby to the Lecht Ski Center, one of Scotland’s best ski resorts and Speyside, the world’s most densely populated whisky region, I travel Scotland in December in my campervan and experience what winter travel in Scotland is like.
