The masters of cut 'n' paste, Douglas "Double Dee" DiFranco and Steven "Steinski" Stein plundered all manner of pop culture sources for their legendary series of early releases, popularly known as The Lessons.
Here is one example. A brief two-second spoken line from the 1951 film, A Streetcar Named Desire as uttered by Marlon Brando.
The line is, "Well, how about cutting the rebop!". It was used by Double Dee and Steinski on Lesson 2 (James Brown Mix).
