The most popular of all the great Russian composers, the national patriot Nikolai Andreevich Rimsky-Korsakov in 1900 created an outstanding orchestral miniature "Flight of the Bumblebee" - beautiful and at the same time very difficult to perform. For more than a century, this brilliant interlude from the opera The Tale of Tsar Saltan has been one of the hallmarks of Russian classical music not only in our country, but throughout the world. The musical tempo of the miniature is so high that violinists usually divide the interlude part into small passages, performing them in turn. The creative genius of Rimsky-Korsakov inspired us to create our own version of the interlude, performed on a variety of instruments by musicians from our vast Motherland.
