What sets us apart from other dancers on our field?
We are the first group to take our art form, Isbhujwa, which is largely a
street dance culture and elevate it to heights that can be likened to, say,
classical dance forms such as Ballet.
Also, we seek not only to be the first, but also be the best in our
transition toward infusing Jazz music and our type of dance. When on
stage, we not only dance, we aim to have a physical conversation
through our work and transfer that energy to audiences we perform for.
The reason we call ourselves The Jazzance
It is because our work is a combination of Jazz music meeting dance
(Jazz + dance = Jazzance).
