The Duchy of Luxembourg is one of the smallest countries in the world! It is a landlocked country surrounded by Germany, Belgium and France. After enjoying a week at home, the girls and I hopped on the train and enjoyed a 4 night train trip throughout Luxembourg, Belgium and Germany.
Our first stop was in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg. We stayed at the Novotel Luxembourg Centre, and we really enjoyed our stay. Luxembourg City is very walkable so we tried to walk as much as possible. Once we were tired, we hopped on the buses, which are all free!
On our first night, we visited the Notre Dame Cathedral as well as enjoying a sweet treat in front of the Grand Ducal Palace. On our second day, we visited the Luxembourg City Museum, the Panoramic Elevator of Pfaffenthal and the Chemin de la Corniche.
