Sullurpeta (Andhra Pradesh), Dec 13 (ANI): The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) is carrying out rescue and relief efforts in the cyclone-affected areas of Andhra Pradesh. It has evacuated people were evacuated to safer places shortly after Cyclone Vardah made landfall on Monday afternoon in Tamil Nadu. Accompanied by heavy rains and high-velocity winds, Cyclone Vardah has caused severe destruction and disruption of normal life.
