We sat down with the legendary Bunny Williams to get her insights on functionality in design, and as one might expect, we left the experience with lessons aplenty. While Williams has impeccable taste, she doesn't approach each design project with only that in mind but rather dives deep into the lifestyles of her clients to explore what their needs are, and how they need their surroundings to work for them, to function. To Williams, designing a gorgeous room doesn't leave you better off if you can't fully live your life in it - and we couldn't agree more.
