Proper diagnosis of a disease is of utmost importance. And doctors play a very important role in this situation as they diagnose the disease and prescribe us the correct antibiotic to treat the disease. It is the responsibility of the citizen/ patient to consult a doctor before taking any antibiotic or medicine. The leftover or unused antibiotics should not be shared with family members or friends.

PREVENT IT is a three-year project co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Commission. The vision of the project is a future where every individual is aware of antibiotics resistance (ABR) and is empowered with the right education to address the issue of ABR. The project is implemented by a consortium comprising 5 Indian universities, 4 European universities and 2 non-governmental organizations.
