Ingredients
1.Red Amaranthus-300 to 400 gm
2.Green chilli-4
3.Fenugreek-1tsp.
4.Turmeric powder-half tsp
5.Asofoetida-1tsp.
6.Tamarind juice-Squeezed from 1 Lemon sized,soaked in water
7.Rock salt- as needed
8.Jaggery-1 Lemon size
9.Onion (optional)-3
10.Garlic(optional)-1 full bulb
11.Coconut oil- For seasoning
METHOD
In a cooker, put all ingredients from1 to 10, cook for 3 whistles. When it cools , open the cooker and mash well. Either add coconut oil only, or season it with mustard and red chilli.
