• Closing thoughts:
o On wrist – Nice goldilocks proportions, 39mm Width x 47mm L2L footprint keeps it versatile for across many wrist sizes
Wears surprisingly similar to the discontinued SARX055 Baby Snowflake
o Model variants – Originally released in a white dial (may be sold out by now), with a blue dial in works
o Comparable models – The predecessors to this series were selling out in minutes and hours at their lower price point, but even in the current sub-$550 market manage to offer a homage with a pretty legit spec list w/a screw-down crown good for 100m WR, a Sapphire crystal, hacking & hand-winding movement, and drilled lugs
Although the dials aren’t quite finished to the level of nicer comparative Seiko Presage watches, the more complex designs and ambitious finishes will still be enticing enough for many
o Bottom-line – Although a very clear homage, it does impressively step up to the task of trying to emulate a luxurious hand-worked timepiece and if you can get ahold of one in the metal, it will surely still impress, particularly at the price point
