Squint is known to passed on from parents to children, so even if there is no problem with your child, it needs to be examined within the first year of life and also in 3 -4 years of age. If there is a mildest suspicion of squint, the child must be taken to the eye doctor more frequently. Mere examination of the child may not be enough in some cases. So these children are examined under anesthesia to know the actual power of the eye. So decide the future course of action.
