Rising sea levels from the melting of the last Ice Age submerged many sites where prehistoric indigenous once lived. Archaeologists found human bones, sharpened wooden stakes, and textile fragments. Six individual sets of human remains have been found, and the entire site could spread across an acre. Researchers hope that the site can help them learn more about the lives of the Native Americans.
