This is a video to show you how to terminate a Cat 6a jack and outlet. This is the method for a cat6a termination of a cat6a jack. It is also referred to as an RJ45 Cat6a connector. Cat6a jacks differ to modules in that they are a separate connector to the module. This jack is connected to a shutter to create the similar looking module. This will fit into a faceplate as part of a Cat6a wall socket or floor box.
In addition the Cat6a jack will fit in to an empty 24 port patch panel. Each individual jack forms the 24 slots in the panel
The video shows the Cat6a RJ45 wiring on the jack and how it matches with the coloured cores of the cable.
As with all Cat6a termination and structured cabling in general special care is to be taken with the twists in the cores during termination.
As the categories of cable increase the faults in termination and more apparent in the performance of the cable.

00:10 Take the stripping tool and strip off the outer plastic sleeve
00:28 Remove any outer foil if present
00:37 Pull back drain wire
00:41 Take core separator unit and note colours
00:48 Separate and feed the cable pairs into the correct sections
00:57 Untwist the pair just enough to slot into the termination slots and place securely
01:03 Place by colour code into the slots
01:10 Continue and do the same for the 3 remaining colour pairs
01:32 Cut off any excess cable core
01:46 Wrap the drain wire securely around the module
01:54 Take the tool less connector and place on top of the core cable block
02:00 Squeeze into place and secure with finger pressure
02:03 Complete final termination with cable clamp squeeze
