The British Thoracic Oncology Group (BTOG) Annual Conference has had a steady increase in attendance each year, which is a trend that seems set to continue. In this interview, filmed at the 2018 conference, Ken O’Byrne, MD, of Princess Alexandra Hospital & Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia, the founding Chair and former President of BTOG, discusses the importance of the meeting, its unique and ‘rebellious’ nature, and his predictions for its future growth.
