The RPL/HY is a road planer for excavators from 5 to 8 t that mills down to 11,5 cm. The RPL/HY is ideal for preparing the surface of the road for laying a new layer of asphalt or concrete. The wide stroke range of the excavator attachment's self-leveling system allows you to keep the head properly aligned while in operation. The line is completed with teeth specifically designed for asphalt and concrete road surfaces.

What are road planers? Road planers are machines that scarify road surfaces using cold planer technology. Cold planers gradually remove asphalt or concrete by scraping and cutting the road's surface with special teeth arranged along a rotor. The RPL/HY tooth layout was specifically designed by FAE to increase performance and reduce vibration. The RPL/HY is most useful when excavator maneuverability, flexibility, and precision are important, especially where there are narrow corners, sidewalks, or manholes.
