Here are the best dividend companies listed on the ASX right now.

I'll show you what I look for and which companies I would consider for my portfolio. Generally, I'm looking for companies with a strong dividend yield (generally over 5%). That are consistent and stable in paying out. And companies where the price is increasing also over the long term.

From my research, eleven companies fit my investing criteria of what I'm looking for as a dividend investor.

I'll also research the top five companies to show you how I'd narrow the list of possible investments.
