Presented by Edith Garland Dupré Library
Manny Klepper, a Lafayette resident and Holocaust survivor, shares his personal account of Kristallnacht—the attack on German Jews that signaled the start of the Holocaust on Nov 9, 1938. During the two-day Kristallnacht, at least 100 Jews were killed throughout Germany, Austria and Czechoslovakia. Nazi Party military forces arrested another 30,000 Jews and sent them to concentration camps.
Manny will share his personal account of Kristallnacht.
The event is part of the Americans and the Holocaust Traveling Exhibition that the library has on display until December 8th. More information about the exhibit and related special events can be found at [ Ссылка ].
