[ Ссылка ] - A few laps of the NEW (2010) Silverstone GP Circuit (previously called Arena layout) in my Lotus Elise S2 with Honda Type-R engine (210bhp) and Toyo R888s.
This was a session where I had a couple of laps chasing (and keeping up with) a Radical SR3. We were both slowed by other cars but once I got a clearish lap I did a 2:26 which is my best lap so far.
The car was far from ideal. I was already getting rattling from the rear under cornering load with power (very noticable in the video) so had to be failrly gradual with power application. It turned out to be a driveshaft which went completely a little later in the day and I had to retire.
Best theoretical was a 2:25.25 and am sure without the driveshaft issue would have been well intyo the 2:24s
Video is captured on a Video4 setup from Race-Technology. I use this system extensively in my driver coaching where we are able to compare data & video down to minute detail to help the driver improve at a faster rate.
