Christian is Co-founder and Head of Sandbox live! at Sandbox, a global network for the most inspiring innovators below 30. He acts as Special Advisor for social entrepreneurship and community matters at the National Consortium of University Entrepreneurs (NACUE), and has been selected as one of The Daily Beast's "300 world class influencers to reboot America". Related to a PhD on the dynamic interplay between social networks and (social) enterprise performance in emerging markets, Christian teaches entrepreneurship at the London School of Economics (LSE). Previously, he worked in politics and business, and is passionate about connecting inspiring people and making cool ideas happen. Chris regularly speaks at major conferences and events on community development, entrepreneurship, networks, and social innovation.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
