This video is a "How To" build your own 6S LiIon battery pack for your flying machines, Drones, Quads, Model Airplanes etc. To start with here is a disclaimer.
YOU DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
If you are not competent with electonics, soldering or making stuff, you should not do this. Beause if you get the wiring wrong and create a short circuit the battery pack will burst into flames and you will have a fire to deal with, and the problem with this fire is it is a lithium fire and lithium spontaneously can burn in the presence of air and if you add water in an attempt to put the fire out, it burns more fiercly. You have been warned.
If you continue to build your own, ensure you have no added distractions, kids, partners etc. and check every stage with great care.
Batteries bought from Tinkertech AU and are VTC6 MURATA (SONY).
Balance cables, holders and all hardware as well as the Spot Welder bought from Banggood.
Will you save money making your own batteries, short answer is NO, not unless you get the batteries cheaply. BUT by building your own you will know the quality of the batteries and the build. Here is a link to a complete test of different LiIon batteries and the results are staggering. [ Ссылка ]
On my Roma quad with 1800kvA motors I can easily get 18 minutes of good flight time, so for long range flights these are a good option.
