One of today’s best wrestlers in the world today.
Ospreay began climbing the ranks of the UK Indie scene about ten years ago, mainly for his home promotion of Revolution Pro as well as Prgress Wrestling. 2015 saw him branch out and participate in PWG’s annual Battle Of Los Angeles tournament. He parlayed that into a chance to compete in the Best of the Super Juniors for NJPW the following year where he and Ricochet put on a match that’s still talked about. He would make the finals of the 2016 BOLA as his worldwide stock continued to rise. It wouldn’t be long before he conquered the scene in NJPW, taking home the IWGP Jr Heavyweight Championship. Eventually, he would, bulk up,and move to the Heavyweight division and capture the IWGP Heavyweight Championship as well. The pandemic made travel between Japan and the UK exceedingly difficult if not impossible and Ospreay became a permanent competitor for NJPW until things settled down. Once again able to travel, Ospreay continued to take his talents across the globe, usually followed by his United Empire brethren. 2023 has been an incredible year for Ospreay, holding victories over the likes of Kenny Omega, Chris Jericho, and Mike Bailey on pay per view events. Ospreay’s style has evolved as much as he has in his journey. Once a predominately aerial wrestler, he’s come to hone his skills on a more all-around basis. He still loves to fly, as shown with his Sasuke Special. He’s since added a spectacular Liger Bomb to his repertoire. The OsCutter has won many matches and titles while the Hidden Blade is one of his newer weapons. Stormbreaker may just be his ultimate weapon.
